Privacy
This page explains what personal information Sorriso BJJ Botany collects through this website, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through a form on this site:
- Free trial bookings: your name, phone number and email address, your experience, the program you are interested in (for a child, their age group) and any message you add.
If you call or email us, we see the details you share in that call or email.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to you, book and confirm a trial class, answer your enquiry and tell you about the class you asked about. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who sees it
Your details go to the Sorriso BJJ Botany team. They may pass through the services we use to run the website, receive form submissions and send email. Those services handle the information on our behalf.
To keep spam out, each form you send is checked by Google reCAPTCHA and CleanTalk. Google receives technical details about your browser and device. CleanTalk receives your IP address and the name, email address and message you entered. We also keep a record of each form sent through the site, with its IP address, so that we can deal with problems and block abuse.
Children
Our forms are for parents and guardians. Please don't let a child submit their own details. The forms ask for a child's age or age group, not their name.
Cookies and measurement
This website may use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our advertising. These tools set cookies and collect information such as the pages you view and the device you use. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
The map on our pages is provided by Google Maps, which may also set cookies, and so may Google reCAPTCHA once you open or start a form. The site remembers in your browser that you have already seen the free trial popup, so it does not open again during the same visit. That note never leaves your device.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and trial details for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or call 027 667 7661. If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
